My 30th Party

I had my 30th party on Saturday night at The Bond Street Bar.

It was a great night - loads of bubbly flowing!!! My lovely family had bets on how long I would last before flaking or falling over - I didn't do either!!!!!

It was a fabulous night - especially watching my father dancing with all my friends!!

The Firemen!!!!

The bar's fire alarm went off and we all had to be evacuated.

Of course the fire brigade was on scene shortly after.

I was hoping for the lads to do a strip, but they didn't seem too impressed! My sister and I are standing in front of the fire engine, although we were obstructing the path to the bar!!!!

One had a really big axe so I convinced him to pose with me!!!

What a birthday treat!!! You can't see where my hand is can you!!!!!

All the girsl were shrieking and carrying on.

Jet Boat Racing

My brother-in-law Greg does Jet Boat Racing. We went for the day to watch him race. It was super. Here is him and is boat - they did quite well racing. He is trying to talk Steve and I into a ride, Steve's keen, but I'm not sure. There was a crash during one race - the boat flipped over nose to tail about 3-4 times. They were both OK, but travelling at over 100km - it could be quite scary.
