Waiheke Island

Waiheke Island is in Auckland Harbour. It takes about 45mins by ferry to get there. We stayed in a friend's batch (holiday house) The views are amazing - especially from the vineyard where we had lunch. It looked across the harbour and back to Auckland City. The photo of the metal road is part of the islands main road! Steve was rather amused!

We had a great time at Waiheke - relaxing and looking at the endless views of lovely beaches and the Waitemata Harbour. Steve had to have his snooze in the hammock!
